The iPad Pro Line to be Launched on March 15th

According to several well-respected publications, Apple will further try to differentiate the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad by making it part of the iPad Pro line.

It is expected that Apple will follow the similar path as with the MacBook Pro, which comes in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. It is now expected that the iPad Pro will soon come in 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch variations.

The next-generation iPad will debut at Apple’s March 15th Event and should be available for shipping as soon as March 18th. The smaller iPad Pro will have nearly identical features as the bigger model, which means we expect the A9X processor and RAM upgrades. Additionally, the smaller iPad Pro will most likely come with updated display technology to support the Apple Pencil.

Sources familiar with the matter are also reporting that the new model will include a Smart Connector, which will be compatible with a smaller Smart Keyboard. Furthermore, quad stereo speakers will be part of the hardware.

The March Event should be very exciting, especially with the fact that we’ll see a new 4-inch iPhone 5se with an A9 chip, Live Photo compatibility, and slightly curved edges. On the other hand, Apple is expected to launch new Apple Watch band options.
