Google has officially launched YouTube Music for iOS, an application that lets you listen to music and watch music videos. Interestingly enough, this app sits separate from the original YouTube App.
YouTube Music is allowing you to get a music experience outside of the standard YouTube App, available both on iOS and Android. However, the app is designed to work with the Google Music subscription and is provided in the single monthly cost. In case you already own a membership to YouTube Red, then you’ve been happy to hear that the newest YouTube app works with your subscription as well.

YouTube Music can be used to receive all access to the music section of YouTube Red and Google Music as well, without any advertisements of any kind. Additionally, the app can be used to switch between video and audio-only, where the audio playback works in the background as well. Differently said, you will be able to hear a song even while you’re using some other app and even if you turn off your display.
You can try this app for free as well since the app includes a 14-day “amplified experience” for free. Download YouTube Music from the iOS App Store.
