Apple’s March Event 2016 Recap

As we previously announced, Apple’s March Event has been held yesterday (March 21), during which several new products were announced. So without further ado, let’s see what this year’s March event was all about.

Perhaps the most notable addition to Apple’s lineup is the iPhone SE. This is the new 4-inch iPhone with refreshed internals, very close to those of the company’s iPhone 6s.

The iPhone SE was showed in detail during yesterday’s March Event, where we saw that A9 chip will power the device, in addition to the embedded M9 motion co-processor. The new iPhone also packs the same graphics capabilities at the current iPhone generation, which makes it three times faster than the iPhone 5s.

Additionally, Apple has also announced a new iPad (now part of the iPad Pro line), with the 9.7-inch screen. It includes the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support. Even though it is very close to the recently introduced iPad Pro, this model comes with a True Tone display, which is what’s unique about it. It uses four-channel ambient light sensors to measure the color temperature of the environment, changing the temperature of the display to match.

Additionally, the company has announced the next major version of iOS 9 (version 9.3), with bug fixes and feature refinements, along with the new Night Shift mode.

Those of you who were looking for new bands for your Apple Watch models will be happy to hear that Apple has introduced several nicely designed bands, including the woven nylon.

During the day, we will publish a long-form article on all the new products and technologies that were announced during the 2016 March Event, so stay tuned to JustGoodBites!
